Together with his brother Douglas, Mr. Fawell is a co-founder of Jenwood, and a member of the JenEquity Credit Committee. Mr. Fawell’s experience includes service as a senior equity partner and member of the Management Committee of an AmLaw 100 firm, where he commanded the 2nd highest book of business. His career client list includes Jiffy Lube, the Chicago White Sox, Inland Real Estate, Waste Management, American National Bank, Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Dresdner Bank, and general counsel / principal for numerous real estate developments, as well as several family offices. In addition to serving as General Counsel for Jenwood, Mr. Fawell is also a partner at Rimôn PC.
Douglas J. Fawell is the co-founder of Jenwood. He has primary responsibilities for the trading decisions and management of Jenwood’s investments and is a member of the JenEquity Credit Committee. As an MBA from the University of Chicago, Mr. Fawell had a 17- year career at UBS where he served as Head of the UBS Equity Syndicate and later as Head of US Equity Capital Markets, where he was responsible for all aspects of equity issuance in North America. While leading UBS Equity , he drove a revenue increase of 20% to $1 Billion, while downsizing senior officers by 25%. Mr. Fawell lead-managed over 800 offerings, took 93 companies public, coordinated execution of mandates between banking, sales and trading to maintain quality and consistency and was a member of the credit committee to determine allocations of capital to clients.
Mr. Sørensen joined Jenwood Global in 2014. During this time he has proven himself to be a valued partner and principal, taking on ever more complex leadership roles. Mr. Sorensen's background includes the directorship in structured finance for several Swiss and UK based advisors. This expertise has enabled Mr. Sorensen to take a leadership role in both the Jenwood Companies as well as the company’s initiatives in Asia. Mr. Sørensen is currently the lead manager for Jenwood’s Southeast Asian interests. In this role he serves as the CEO of Eurostead Global Ltd., a Labuan private company and Jenwood subsidiary. Currently, Mr. Sorensen is the lead adviser in a US$105M capital formation effort for the expansion of a critical Southeast Asian data center. Mr. Sørensen also lead-manages Jenwood’s equity interest in the development of a 15,000-hectare mining operation in Southeast Asia. In this latter effort, Mr. Sørensen led the joint Asian-U.S. team in negotiating a long-term lease from the sovereign title owner of the property, as well as multiyear offtake contracts with public and quasi-public utilities. This very unique venture was critical in structuring the $115,000,000 capital stack. Mr. Sorensen divides his time between Kuala Lumpur and London.
David Munro Anderson has been part of the Jerwood enterprise since February, 2014. He is one of the most high-profile senior professionals in the United Kingdom and a catalyst for revolutionary change in the financial services sectors and industry. With more than 40 years of finance management experience, David Anderson was awarded the Hedge Funds Review European Single Manager Awards 2016 by the European hedge fund industry. David Anderson has been one of the leaders in the creation of the hedge fund industry in Europe since the mid-1970s. In 1963, he started his career with ED&F Man Ltd, one of the world’s leading agricultural commodity merchants. He then established, with ED&F Man, the futures broking, stockbroking and investment management firm then known as Man International. In 1974, David Anderson launched one of the first futures and options funds in the world. Subsequently, in 1981, he established Anderson Man Limited, the futures broking, stockbroking and investment management company. He was also the founder chairman of the Association for Futures and Options. Renowned as one of the most respected experts in the financial services industry, David Anderson played a critical role in the formation of the Financial Services Act of 1986. The Act aimed to regulate the financial services industry using a mixture of government regulation and self-regulation. At the time, he was the Director of the Securities and Investments Board (SIB), United Kingdom’s first regulatory authority that was responsible for everything within the financial services industry. He was a member of the Securities Institute. David Anderson also served as chairman of the formation committee of the International Petroleum Exchange, joint chairman of the formation committee for the Baltic International Freight Futures Exchange, vice-chairman of the London Commodity Exchange and as a council member of the Association of Futures Brokers and Dealers.
Steven Duby founded HHI Development in 2003, a land development company based in Georgetown, Texas. The first project that the company was entitled to was a 220-lot development in Williamson County. His teams have a combined track record of completing over 25,000 acres of land development, representing a total of 3 billion dollars of developed land value. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Mr. Duby worked for two Fortune 100 companies, domestically and internationally, in the polycarbonate sheet division. He has owned and managed a wide variety of real estate assets, which include office, industrial, land-fills, and multifamily apartments, while also building and running a successful international logistics/manufacturing company. Mr. Duby graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and the University of Michigan for their executive MBA program.
